Taking the main waterway of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project as the vertical axis and the Yellow River, Shaying river and Huaihe river, the horizontal axes, Henan has formed a waterway network of "one vertical axis and three horizontal axes covering six areas". With a modern waterway network in place, Henan unclogs its "veins and arteries", making its waterways connected, alive and beautiful.
