Great Rivers Civilizations

2023世界大河文明论坛（中国·郑州）于9月16日至18日在郑州举办。此次论坛采取线上线下相结合的方式，把聚而论道和实地体验相融合，举行主论坛、分论坛、圆桌会议、体验考察、黄河文化月、中外媒体黄河行等各类活动，发布《世界大河文明论坛·郑州宣言》，力争多角度、全景式展现大河之美、文化之美、文明之美。大河网开设“从河而来”栏目，围绕黄河文化主要内容，推出一系列新闻报道，向世界讲好新时代黄河故事。

From September 16 to 18, the 2023 World Great Rivers Civilizations Forum (Zhengzhou·China) was held in Zhengzhou, the capital city of Central China's Henan province. During the event, various online and offline activities were launched to show the charm of great rivers, cultures and civilizations, including a major forum, a number of sub-forums and round-table sessions, filed visits, Yellow River Culture Month, International and Local Media Yellow River Tour, etc. Besides, The World Great Rivers Civilizations Forum: Zhengzhou Declaration was released, too. We set up a special column Great Rivers Civilizations in which a series of Yellow River-themed news articles have been published to present the Yellow River culture in the new era to the world.

On the afternoon of September 14, the “Henan, Cradle of China” International and Local Media Yellow River Tour arrived at “Unique Henan: Land of Dramas” to explore the story about the Yellow River, land, food and inheritance.

Tundra Swans Spotted at Yellow River Wetland in Mengjin

On February 22, about 102 tundra swans were spotted foraging in the Yellow River Wetland National Nature Reserve in Mengjin district of Luoyang city, Central China's Henan province, creating a beautiful natural scenery. It is the first time that such a large population of tundra swans has inhabited the wetland.
