On this day, people often eat rice dumplings, wear perfumepouches, hold dragon boat races and hang Chinese Mugwort,

to commemorate Qu Yuan and pray for health.

Dragon boat races
赛龙舟
Dragon boat races are held in many parts of China during the Dragon Boat Festival.
端午节，中国很多地方都可以看到热闹的龙舟大赛，
During the races, teams compete with each other, making it the most popular sport of the Festival.
各龙舟队竞相比拼，成为节日里最受人们喜爱的竞技体育运动。
On the beautiful Longzi Lake,
在郑州美丽的龙子湖上，
there are school dragon boat teams
来自各学校的龙舟队
hurriedly paddling on the beat of drums.
奋擂击鼓，挥桨击水。
A "Dragon Boat" is a boat shaped and decorated in the form of a Chinese dragon.
龙舟，是端午节竞渡用的龙形船。
Dragon boat race originally began as a way to worship the Dragon God on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar.
赛龙舟最初是中国人祛病防疫的节日活动，

is believed to bring luck and keep family members healthy
传说插在门口代表招百福，
when hung by the front door.
可使主人身体健康。
As an old saying goes, a perfume pouch can protect you from poisonous creatures.
“戴个香草袋，不怕五虫害”，

Chinese people started to wear perfume pouches to keep evil away,

Eating sticky rice dumplings
吃粽子
Rice dumpling is a kind of food
一片粽叶裹上缕缕牵挂，
conveying feelings and affection in China.
饱含着情深意切。
The first character of rice dumpling, or zongzi, is pronounced in a similar way to the Chinese character "中", which means having achievements in certain fields.
中文“粽”和“中”发音接近，
During the Festival, people give zongzi to each other
